Genna Moe began her position as the Executive Director of the Art Base one year ago today! Since September of 2015, Genna has made some great changes for our organization, including overseeing the name change from the Wyly Art Center to the Art Base and working with our board and staff to draw up plans for new facilities. (We will post those drawings soon!)
Genna’s incredible work ethic has been recognized within the Roaring Fork Valley community and beyond. Aspen Public Radio recently interviewed Genna about her impressive career, her passion for art, and her accomplishments and goals for the Art Base. You can listen to the interview here: http://aspenpublicradio.org/post/art-base-head-reflects-after-first-year.
Genna is traveling to Denver today for the GenXYZ Awards Event presented by ColoradoBiz magazine, where she will be recognized as one of the 2016 Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals. ColoradoBiz’s GenXYZ program recognizes outstanding Colorado business and community leaders between the ages of 21 and 39. Each finalist represents the diversity of Colorado and includes those who have had great accomplishments and made significant contributions to their businesses, industries and communities. Our fingers are crossed for Genna to be selected as one of the top five finalists—no matter what happens at the event, what a great way for Genna to celebrate her one year anniversary as our Executive Director! We are so proud to be on her team!
