THE ART BASE ANNOUNCES INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
On April 10, 2020 Genna Moe will leave her current position as Executive Director of the Art Base to begin a new role as Aspen Regional Director, Society of Fellows at The Aspen Institute. To see the leadership transition through seamlessly, the Art Base Board of Trustees has appointed Skye Skinner as Interim Executive Director. Skinner has accepted the role through the end of 2020, and has committed to maintaining her current post as Capital Campaign Manager through the completion of the new Art Base building in Basalt’s River Park. Moe will continue in a volunteer capacity at the Art Base, expected to join the search committee for a new, full-time executive director, and contribute as a member of the new building design team alongside Architect Rich Carr of CCY and developer Tim Belinski.
